René A. Zelaya

Welcome! I am a bioinformatics programmer in the Integrative Genomics Lab, where I have been working since the spring of 2013. My primary mission is to put our computational tools and research advances in the hands of biologists. I work with users to understand how we can make their lives easier through accessible computation. I translates these conversations, in the context of our machine learning advances, into functionality embedded in webservers such as GIANT and Tribe that address key biological challenges. I am currently in the process of building this website - stay tuned!
